FAMILY AND COMMUNITY HEALTH
Library of Things Food Preservation Education!
The Clackamas County OSU Extension recently partnered with the Sandy Library of Things to present a workshop on safely preserving tomatoes and tomato products. Attendees learned practical techniques for maximizing their tomato harvest while also discovering the convenient tools available to borrow through the Library of Things program. We shared tested recipes and resources, ensuring everyone could confidently preserve their bounty. This collaboration empowers community members to reduce food waste and enjoy delicious home-preserved goods year-round. More collaborative events are planned; stay tuned for announcements on our social media page and at the Sandy Public Library!
